We the organisers welcome you to the 2nd year of the Merida Brass Monkeys Winter ENDURO 3 event series brought to you by Gorrick and the Army, bringing with them once again some outstanding venues chosen for their suitability for enduro mountain bike racing, along with their natural beauty. All the venues have the very best course features that we know you demand, like fast flowing singletrack interspersed with fire track and mixed with enough technical sections to keep you on your toes, coupled with great facilities and easy access. Of course there will be some subtle changes along all of the routes and an improved event experience, just because we listen to you our Riders. Check out the individual round pages for details of categories, prices and times for each round. Each round will have its own prize giving and overall series prizes will be presented at Round 3. CATEGORY AGE: "Your age is determined at Round 3 on 31/01/11" which applies to all rounds. You can download entry forms, review results, search for photos and learn more about how to race in this section. Newcomers are always welcome at our events and if you have a question that we haven't answered on the website please get in touch: info@gorrick.com Dates, Times & Venues:Three improved venues for your continued enjoyment and perfect for Enduro racing. 4 hour and 2 hour Enduro format with categories for Male, Female, Veteran and Under 18's. Also a Fun category of 1 hour. It's a series so all rounds count. Podium presentation of trophies on the day with series prizes at the last round, along with some cracking spot prizes. ROUND 1 PARKHURST HILL, ALDERSHOT 28th November 2010. ROUND 2 ASH RANGES, ASH 28th December 2010. ROUND 3 RUSHMOOR ARENA, ALDERSHOT 23rd January 2010. Water available at all venues. Limit of 500 riders. No on the day entry. On a closing note, sorry to say there were a lot of gel and energy bar wrappers littering all course’s throughout the series. We will not tolerate such littering at any of our events, just that mindless action is enough for the landowners to ban use of a venue along with other facilities which are provided by the MOD and we are sure you would be disappointed along with us not to ride or race on this exclusive land. There is also a lot of wildlife including cattle on the training areas and you wouldn't want them eating your discarded wrappers with potential dire consequences? So please, put the empties in your pocket as you did take them out of your pocket, so take them home with you, or if you feel the need to discard them, attempt to aim them at the bins which will be provided strategically around the course.
